Pocone is one of most import gold producer district in Brazil. Several open-pit excavations, some over 100 meters deep. Good infrastructure (paved roads, electricity, water), available mining labor, and good logistics (100 km from Cuiabá)

Located in a historically significant alluvial-colluvial gold-producing area, known as Pista do Cabeca, 90km from Alta Floresta city and 395km from Sinop (Airport).
